The real place

MacArthur Park in Westlake is split in two by Wilshire Boulevard, which crosses its lake, just as a road crosses Glen Park's pond. Fan wikis also name nearby Echo Park as a partial influence.

Visiting

The park is next to Westlake/MacArthur Park Metro station. Go in daylight and keep an eye on your belongings in the busy surrounding streets.
