A concrete dam between Bone County and Tierra Robada that powers Las Venturas and features in 'Dam and Blast'.

The real place

Hoover Dam, finished in 1936, holds back the Colorado River to form Lake Mead and straddles the Nevada-Arizona border. The game copies its curved concrete wall.

Visiting

It is roughly 45 minutes' drive from Las Vegas. You can walk across the top, and paid tours go inside; expect a security check on the approach road.
