A pyramid casino with a sphinx and obelisk; CJ can buy a suite there as a safehouse.

The real place

Luxor is a 30-storey pyramid with a giant sphinx and a light beam shining from its tip. It opened in October 1993, a year after the game's setting.

Visiting

The sky beam is visible across the valley after dark. A free tram links Luxor with Excalibur and Mandalay Bay.
