In the game

A wooded hill in south-west San Fierro, topped by a radio mast modelled on Sutro Tower.

The real place

Mount Sutro is a eucalyptus-covered hill near UCSF, and the three-legged Sutro Tower stands on a neighbouring ridge towards Twin Peaks. The game merges the two.

Visiting

The Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve is open to walkers. Nearby Twin Peaks gives a close view of Sutro Tower and the city.
