The real place

The Castro is one of the best-known gay neighbourhoods in the world, centred on Castro and Market Streets. The game's Queens nods to it in name and look, with its boulevard modelled on Market Street.

Visiting

Take Muni Metro to Castro station. The Castro Theatre, the Rainbow Honor Walk plaques and the GLBT Historical Society Museum are all close by.
